The Community Development Department in Paden City is dedicated to fostering sustainable growth and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. The department is organized into two key divisions: Economic Development and Neighborhood and Community Development. Additionally, it provides support to the city’s Human Rights Commission.

Promote, develop, and advance the business prosperity and economic welfare of the citizens of Paden City.

Cork Bowen President, Chuck Fiest Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer – Open, (Cork Bowen is currently acting in that capacity.) Bill Bell Council Representative, Gary Cardelein, Eric Danielson, Bob Sellers, Kelly Sine, Richard Wright and Clyde Hochstrasser ex-officio and non-voting member.
Meetings:
Regular monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in room 22 of the Health & Recreation Building. All meetings are open to the public.
Goal:
The Neighborhood and Community Development Division is responsible for coordinating and overseeing programs that enhance neighborhood quality and address community needs. This division manages various federal, state, and other grant programs aimed at improving housing, infrastructure, and community services.
